If anybody truly wants to know what is wrong with this country, they need not look to Washington. No... what is truly wrong is not the Republicans or the Democrats. It is not the heated town halls in which a proponent of health care was assaulted by SEIU union members. Yes that is bad; however there is something much-much worse.
In Tulare California, an eight-year-old girl named Daniela had her lemonade stand closed down by city officials for not having a permit. You have got to be kidding me!!! This little girl was attempting to raise money to go to Disneyland; one quarter at a time. I hope every resident of that city runs to the polls and votes to unseat the officials who seemed to have destroyed the American Dream in that town.
Yes... America is lost on the open ocean without a star chart or a compass. Every time the government steps in and closes a child’s lemonade stand an angel loses its wings.
Everyone needs to step-up and quote Twisted Sister in cases like this, “We’re not going to take it, anymore!!!”
Or maybe we are just to busy quoting the Prophet Jim Morrison, “This is the end…Beautiful friend…This is the end…My only friend, the end…Of our elaborate plans, the end…Of everything that stands, the end…No safety or surprise, the end I’ll never look into your eyes...again…”
