Life is like a pendulum…

it is always shifting its direction. This could be found today in our country. If anyone is watching the news they can see this. Back in the sixties we as a nation attempted to take back our country from the politicians, leading to the history changing Woodstock. This is happening again.
Over the weekend an estimated 8 to 10,000 people showed up for a TEA party in Columbus Ohio. This is the estimate given by the local law enforcement, and there is pictures and video to back up this claim. Now those who trust the media may have this trust shatter when they hear that the media purposefully underestimated the crowd as 100 to 300 people. Even Chris Mathews on Hardball, a man who does not deny his liberal views, has realized the next shift in the pendulum, and has become scared as a result.
People have taken to the streets and taken to the town halls of their prospective representatives and have voiced their concerns. This is a good think as our freedom of speech is a freedom we must all cherish. The majority of citizens of this country have spoken, and they have spoken against Nationalized Health Care, Cap and Trade and another Stimulus plan. So many people have spoken against these programs that you cannot even call your representative because the switchboards are down in the Congress.
My fear is not that Republicans will seize control in 2010 and 2012, this is the history of our great country, and my fear is not the Democrats who are not listening to the voice of the people. My fear is what Neal Young once sang about, “Four Dead in Ohio.”
These rallies keep increasing in size and our elected representatives are calling the police and having those they represent arrested outside their Congressional offices. And everybody knows what happens when those without guns, but with a cause, meet those with guns.
Another thing that happened over the weekend is that the Obama Administration by way of Secretary Geithner has stated that everybody’s taxes will be increased to pay for this craziness that most could never have imagined.
Yes, the pendulum is shifting back to the right like never before. Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, you need to let your voice be heard, because as of now, it is the Republicans who have lit the fire and sparked the shift back to the center from the far left.
And let me leave you with one final thought; is it not amazing how the Stock Market has rallied as Obama’s rakings have crashed.
